I knew there was a reason I check my e-mail every ten seconds....

Just before our one-month anniversary, my boyfriend asked me if I had checked my e-mail. I hadn't, so he told me I should and reminded me before I left school for the day. I forgot to check it that night and the next night our server was down. Finally, on the day of our one-month anniversary, after school I checked my e-mail. I had some spam and one email from the boy in question. It was a breakup email that had already been sitting in my inbox for a week. He had just been waiting for me to see it and never said a word. Apparently all of my friends knew too.
